Since last time...

So, it's been rather busy since I've been gone!

Last weekend I went to Chester's fireworks display on the Roodee, run by the Chester Lions - fair do's, crap weather but the display was most enjoyable. Had to laugh at the couple next to me...stupid young pair of chavs who had the audacity to go "Awwww f*ckin' 'ell, shall we jus' go, coz dis is dead borrring like", and his girlfriend replying with "Yeeeeh, it's all a bi sameee inniiit"

Of course it's samey you cretin, it's a fireworks display, what were you expecting. Puppies and kittens shot out of cannons at the crowd to Dizzee Rascal? Uhhh no.

Last Sunday was of course Remembrance Day, a day to remember all of those brave soldiers, past and present, who have done the sterling work of protecting our country...I'd hoped to post a video on here but have yet to work out how...so forgive me!! Anyway, we took my grandad to the local tea room afterwards (side note - expensive or what, prawn butty, SIX QUID!) and he got a mug of coffee - put in the sugar, milk and proceeded to instead of picking up the mug gently so it didn't spill, bending over the mug and sucking up like a horse at a waterhole. Oh it was hilaaaarious!!!!!! You had to be there I guess.

Speaking of soldiers - something that's been mentioned rather a lot over the last week is the letter to the mother of Jamie Janes (I think that's right) - which was sent by our ol' friend Gordon. Clearly Gordon is a bit f*cking stupid...coz he can't spell. And apparently, his staff are stupid too - coz they didn't spell check!

Everyone is making up excuses "Oh he can't see well", or "Oh, well he has to write in thick felt tip"...who cares - Crayola don't give spelling lessons!!!!! And if that man has such a huge group of staff, why do these people not check what he's saying before it's sent to ensure that it doesn't look like a 3 year old grabbed government headed paper and wrote the letter!? Baffles me completely. Another screw up from Gordon is the lack of bowing at the Cenotaph service last Sunday. Some people have told me that it was a genuine mistake, I think otherwise. I think it was a massive show of disrespect and a lack of understanding and grace according to the day in hand. David Cameron and Nick Clegg managed it, so what was his problem - did his spelling get in the way, or did his staff forget to check? ARGH!

Following from that was the by-election in Glasgow, which Labour promptly and "comfortably" won. WHY!? A majority of you sit there, complain about the country and then continually vote for the trouble makers. Why do you do this? You confuse me with this behaviour and considering I've got to put up with your stupid decisions, I want to know why you do it! What possibly makes you think this is a good idea? Having the same bunch of hypocritical, egotistical, ignorant prats in power is not a future I'm looking forward to, so I emplore you - vote for anybody but Labour - they sent us to an illegal war, have basically what is a complete clot in power (don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's a nice bloke, but he couldn't run a race, let alone a country) and you're allowing it to happen.

If you don't agree with the Iraq war, the Afghan invasion, the immoral lack of respect last Sunday, the letter to the mother, the other massive screw ups that are too long to list - look elsewhere for your cross next year.

On a completely different note, I'm confused by religion. What I don't understand is how you get perfectly well rounded, intelligent people who are men of philosophy, women of art and people of science seriously turning around and saying - yep, God exists! Where? How? When? Why? Is it provable? Why do you have to answer the questions I just answered with the cryptic "It's all part of God's plan"...no offence but bugger off - science is physical and it can prove God doesn't exist. Dinosaurs came before man, and dinosaurs and provable as such - so why do you have blind faith? What is it you believe in? Why do you believe in it? A higher power, a big plan? What is it that comforts you to go through life believing there is a big guy in a toga on a cloud watching us all?

Drivers...

Oh my god, what is it with drivers and speed limits?

We have 2 speed reactive signs on our road, put up by the council in a very well meaning attempt to slow people down.

See, we have a community centre and a school at the end of our road so you get kids everywhere at all times. It used to be a 40mph, then it got changed to a 30mph speed limit.

The problem after the change was that the signs were soooo far away from our road (and apparently this is the norm for a speed limit sign for our road being 0.5 miles away!?), that people still thought it was a 40mph.

So we get these speed signs up and for a while, they work. They were teamed with the local police force doing speed checks - some people got caught, and rightly so...but over the last few weeks, people have decided it's a bit of fun to go and make the sign go off!!

Can I remind people, the numbers on speed limit signs are NOT TARGETS, THEY ARE LIMITS!!!!!!! A 30 flashing you is not something to aspire to, it's something to stay UNDER. If you go OVER, you are BREAKING THE LAW!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a taxi overtake me whilst I've been coming into my road, at over 70mph. I find this wholly unacceptable, especially since he had passengers at the time!!!

Arggggh, drivers literally drive me mad!!!

Like in Tesco today - it makes me wonder how some people manage to blink AND breathe at the same time, they make life look so difficult. A woman parked in a space today, with 1 free space either side of her - she gets out, locks the doors and starts chatting to her husband, right in the way of one of the spaces, whilst someone is blatently trying to get in to park...the wonders of people...or not, as the case may now ultimately be!!

Oh, and don't get me going on people IN Tesco. In the way, dithering, wholly indecisive prats.

Anyway, more soon.

Life and other shit...

You support the BNP and you know it.

All you people who find yourself sickened by Nick Griffin, deep down, if you're white and of a certain age, you'll find yourself agreeing with the immigration policies and I bet you found yourself secretly chuckling when he put down Jack Straw last week for his dad being a WW2 coward!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I don't support the ku klux klan like, racist and slightly silly way in which they go about their business but let's face it...the country is pissed with the Government.

But will they stand up and say something? Will we take to the streets and fight for our morals? Will we stand up and be heard?!

No. Let's be honest, this country is full of people who are all a bit too polite to understand what's going on with the country.

Our financial system is screwed, bankers get bonuses which amount to more than 10 people's salaries. Government squeeze money from us year after year and then pretend it's all awful. Will they repay the expenses? Hmm, debatable. They'll make an example of the few and expect the rest to slip under the radar.

When it all kicks off and we need to stand up and fight, we'll get done in.

Has anyone reading this ever noticed it's becoming 1984? Police state?

The man who was in effect murdered by a police officer in London during recent protests. Jean-Charles De Menezes. The woman who was thwacked by a copper during those same protests.

There is some major injustice in this world, we sit by and let the sun set on every incident that occurs.

If you want a prime example - have a look on youtube for the video of the woman who was thrown to the floor and bound for asking a police officer for their badge number (when they never had it displayed, which is a violation in itself).

I am a young woman in the North West of Wales, work in England - and I am very disillusioned woman. I want the sun to rise every morning and for the world to be ok. Utopian will never happen. Should I feel like this at my age? Should it upset me to see the hurt the world is going through?

What is it with money anyway? It's the root of all our problems. Look at Africa - I saw a news article on Kenya and how deep in poverty they are. It's all money. It's all crap. Everyone should cohabit peacefully, happily and without fear of pain.

So what went so wrong?

I emplore you to tell me...

Also, I am pretty furious with a neighbouring council which was formed in the last year. Not only are they the most incompetent f*ckers I have ever come across in a small scale government position, they're wasting tax payer money on moving across the f*cking road!!!!!! £30,000,000...yes, THIRTY MILLION.

This city has no city centre cinema, no theatre - they've spent £8,000 per DAY on consultants when setting up the council and then want to close one of the major car parks in the city to build a "conference and arts centre"!?

Sort out the city centre first! Shops left right and centre are closing due to rates that we're paying to a rich git in a big house (Duke of Westminster...yes I bet you know where I am now!!) and the city is dying.

It's so sad to see because I love my town, it's my home town (apart from where I live, which I adore with every fibre of my being). To see it screwed over so royally by a bunch of idiots makes my blood boil. And it's not like I can even do anything about it as I don't pay my council tax or anything! Well, thinking about it, I do contribute to the city and have for some time considering I work in it...hmmm, we'll see.

And finally - IT'S OCTOBER...STOP ADVERTISING CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday 13 October 2009

And so it begins...

I've been meaning to do this for a long time, put up the angry ramblings of myself and see if anyone bothers to read them.

Fair enough, I couldn't care less if nobody does, but you never know, someone might read this, pass it to someone else and it goes from there.

I will be bitching - but within reason!

I mean, to start - MP's expenses...I'm in the UK and they've announced that the theiving bastards have to repay their expenses in retrospect...oh yeh, try to make them look less corrupt than they already are...ffs, do they not think? One of them (Labour, shock horror) has turned around and said "If you want back what I claimed, you'll have to take further action!" The audacity!!!!! That is stealing!

Frankly, they should be taken to court and CONVICTED!!!!!!!!!!! A normal person would be convicted, so why should they be any different? How the hell are they allowed to be above the law?

Another thing I read today - see below first...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1220095/American-abortion-addict-15-terminations-17-years-publishes-memoir.html

Now to let you know a bit about me - I have poly-cystic ovary syndrome, I'm on medication - I've been taking it for 2 weeks and it gives you AWFUL stomach pains...but I'm doing because eventually, I want children with my fiance.

This woman has robbed 15 lives...a serial killer if you will, and she's gone ahead and written a book.

What a bitch.

The Iraq Inquiry began today with the families of victims giving their verdicts and opinions on the whole sorry mess.

An illegal war with no planning, no protection and no positive outcome. But hey, at least over 100 of our citizens are dead for a cause we had no reason to become involved in.

Don't get me wrong, I know men and woman join the army to do something patriotic, protect their country and better themselves but to be sent to Iraq/Afghanistan etc etc and just get killed for the sake of it...that's not fair...that's not furthering themselves. It's murder. And I know who we can blame...

Tony...Gordon...George...yeh, you guys.

And something that made me giggle - Obama got a Nobel Peace Prize!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, WTF FOR!?

If anyone cares to tell me how he deserves this...please let me know.

Failing that, if you want to comment in general - email me.

That's all...for now.
